Nintendo Switch deals are fairly easy to find these days. Amazon, Best Buy, and GameStop typically offer discounts on everything from Switch games to must-have Switch accessories. However, if you're looking for Nintendo Switch deals on consoles, things are a little trickier.

Deals on the Nintendo Switch console and Nintendo Switch Lite are rare and when they do happen they sell out fast. In terms of pricing, Switch deals usually take a modest $20 or $30 off the console. Alternatively, some retailers might throw in a free game or accessory. While the consoles are easy to find in stock, both devices remain in high demand, which means retailers have no incentive to discount them. So we're rounding up the best Nintendo Switch deals on accessories, games, and more.

If you need a console, make sure to check out our where to buy Nintendo Switch guide for stock updates and bundle deals. And take a look at the best Nintendo Switch games for some ideas on what to play with your new console.

Today's best Nintendo Switch deals

Best Nintendo Switch deals

Nintendo Switch deals

The Nintendo Switch (with extended battery) retails for $299. The console with the improved battery was released in 2019, and this is the one we recommend picking up — the updated battery lasts a maximum of nine hours, rather than 6.5 like its predecessor. You can spot the new console from its packaging: the upgraded Nintendo Switch box has a red background.

However, Switch demand has made finding Switch deals near-impossible. Even during Black Friday, there weren't many discounts to be found on the console itself. That said, retailers like Amazon and Walmart occasionally offer Switch bundles, which include a free game or credit. These are your best options if you're looking for Switch deals that include the console.

Nintendo Switch OLED deals

The new Nintendo Switch OLED is here. The $349 system sports a larger, 7-inch OLED screen and allow gamers to play via their TV, in tabletop mode, or in handheld mode. We don't expect to see any Nintendo Switch deals on the new system any time soon, as stock shortages are still plaguing most retailers. Make sure to follow our where to buy Nintendo Switch OLED guide for the latest restock info, or check the Switch OLED page on Amazon to see when the next round of stock might become available.

Nintendo Switch Lite deals

Now available in more colors than ever, the Editor's Choice Nintendo Switch Lite retails for $199. It's smaller and lighter than the traditional Switch which makes it even more portable. We love the Switch Lite's gorgeous, comfortable design, good battery life, and stellar game library.

Unlike the Nintendo Switch, the Switch Lite is slightly easier to find in stock. Usually Best Buy, Amazon, and GameStop have stock of the Switch Lite in various colors. As for as Switch Lite deals — don't expect many. Your best bet is to look for bundles, like this Switch Lite with a 128GB microSDXC card for $219 at Amazon.
